Hey guys, welcome to Hiker Track! My name is Luna Anderson; you can call me Luna. In this blog, I’m sharing all of my traveling experience, preparation tips, inspirational stories, and much more to all backpacking addicts out there.
Hiker Track was started in 2017, and this is my place of joy and happiness. I see many people enjoy camping and traveling as I do, but have loads of questions about must-go destinations and other things around traveling.
So, I decided to write a blog about travelling – the one with all passion. I want to show you the endless possibilities of this world and open your mind to experience over possession. It might be the best fit for you who are looking for inspiration to start traveling or practical tips on the go.
You may think life has too many obstacles keeping you away from traveling. I believe the opposite.
You may hesitate to go for a trip because of such problems like:
- Where to go, if that place is interesting, or if there is any danger.
- What to do when the destination is too boring
- How to survive, how to overcome any troubles whilst travelling
- How to travel on a budget
- Sometimes they get into trouble with their gear sets: too heavy, uncomfortable, or priced over their budgets.
- And MANY MORE!
I believe that it’s not necessary to let those problem prevent us from exploring the world. The key for a joyful trip is the will to get on the road, the right (and affordable) gear set, and skills to use them effectively.
However, when you get your traveling mindset right, experiences with other cultures, places, and people often bring you the time you would remember forever. For me, a night under the sky with thousands of stars is so much better than any TV shows in a blocked room.

The first step is always the hardest one to take. Here at Hiker Track, my first mission is sharing with you all the experience and know-how to get your confidence and go on your dream trip.
Just stop dreaming about backpacking around the world and started going. I hope these tips will give you the motivation to embark on your own adventure.
Giving Actionable Travel Tips
It’s so bad when you choose a destination but you don’t know what to do there or something just goes wrong. You should put your heart into planning the trip as much as your will to travel.
By offering advice, giving travel tips, improving your knowledge, and providing some actionable plans; I hope to do my bit to make traveling more enjoyable for you. Also, there are tips related to survival, safety, and primitive skills.
With this part of Hiker Track, you may find your adventure both joyful and healthy. I guess you don’t want to get sick while traveling, right?
My Story!
I have not always been a traveler, though. With a Bachelor degree in Business, I became an office worker right after I graduated. Working in a brand new environment and connecting to many interesting and talented colleagues was fun, but I felt something still missing.
I can’t be filled with just an average office life blocked within walls. I dreamed about something more. I feel in my bones there’s passion for exploring this world. I’ve always been curious about the planet where we are living.
That’s when I decided to grab my best friends and go to different places every time we have our chances. Inside the country, abroad, weekends, holidays, we go anytime and anywhere possible.
We broke out of our comfort zones, immersed ourselves in different cultures, and tried new things. We saw the world from other people’s perspective.
And that’s also the time Hiker Track was born. Through this site, I want to share with you the inspiration and motivation to expose yourself to the world and let the world reveal itself to you. Travelling offers you the experience you would never forget.
